We, like many of you, have been following the news about COVID-19 closely. As many others around the world, our staff in Washington state are now under a stay-at-home mandate from Governor Inslee. This is a difficult moment for everyone and our hearts go out to all those affected by the outbreak. During this crisis, safety and spiritual growth continue to be our priorities.
We know that there is currently a lot of disruption in everyone's day-to-day lives. We also know a lot of you rely on us for your spiritual needs!
We are committed to continuing to operate remotely and provide the highest quality service possible, with the utmost focus on safety for our staff during this difficult period.
It is a strange world we live in! Nations struggle, God laughs at their arrogance (Ps 2:4), and a microscopic organism brings the world to its knees. I just wrote a blog on Psalm 2 entitled "
Human Frailty and Divine Power," and another one on
praying in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. You may find these encouraging today.
As you might surmise, people are frightened. Many people have been laid off work and don't know what the future holds. But you can
still get a quality education from home, even using
our online groups to study together. In uncertain times, people tend to rely more on the Lord, realizing how fragile life really is.
We want to continue helping you do that within the context of biblical education.
However, one of the consequences of a crisis is that some stop giving. We know that many people fit in this category due to the current economic crisis, and we are glad to continue offering you free access to a world-class education. Remember that if you are not able to attend your small group or Sunday School, you
can always sign up for one of our free seminars and form a virtual small group (
instructions).
But there are some of you who have the means to help BiblicalTraining during these difficult times, ensuring that the rest of the people will continue to have access to our materials. Would you
please consider giving to BiblicalTraining to help us continue to provide quality biblical education and support?
