As we were celebrating Israel's 73rd birthday last week, we found ourselves having to navigate lie upon lie against our ministry and our country. But we are in very good company, and have much to look forward to, as Jesus goes on to encourage us in the following verse: "Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great! But the latest blatant lie from Rabbi Reuven shocked us. His slanderous video is designed to be provocative and to incite violence against us. We reached out to him, showing him written conformation that the accusation was false from one of our most vocal critics, Rabbi Daniel Asor. Join us in praying for him and his followers - even after receiving proof that it's a blatant lie Rabbi Reuven refuses to recant. HOWEVER, this has spurred us on all the more to make sure the truth is told. We have organized a formal debate which will be publicly available for all to see! Apparently, we, along with several other organizations, are in cahoots with the Israeli Secret Service, working to confuse and brainwash Palestinians! It's such a well-kept secret even we didn't know that. Mercifully, the younger generation of Arabic speaking Muslims tend to be a fairly curious crowd, so prohibitions like this, forbidding people to watch and read our evangelistic materials, will only encourage more people to do so. This has just served to spur us on all the more and continue to proclaim Jesus as the Messiah among Palestinians, the Arabic-speaking world, and anyone who will listen! Voice What about high-profile Christians who renounced their faith? It's more than disturbing lately to hear of so many prominent Christian personalities turning from the faith. "When you choose to surrender every area of your life to God, He will faithfully point out any unknown strongholds that keep Him from having full reign in your life." While we may know this intellectually, many struggles with putting it into practice. By sharing his personal story, Bennie gives a real-world relatable experience of the joys we experience when we live by faith. His book encourages us to ask if we will be like Matthew, who fully surrendered to following Jesus at great sacrifice. He was willing to burn bridges as a tax collector and never looked back. Bennie does not present the journey as an easy path, but "My Father's Business" will bring renewed excitement for the Great Commission because it challenges readers to understand their part in it. Bennie invites readers to re-examine how they do business. For many of us, we list earthly things as our priorities, such as jobs and families. But God's priority is for us to go and make disciples.
