COURT UPDATE: Today I had to fly home to attend a court hearing filed by the local government to close down our church. A hearing was scheduled later, but they sought an injunction so that we would be unable to celebrate Christmas! I literally can't believe what I just typed. It sounds like the plot of a Hallmark channel holiday movie—but it's true. In a few hours I will take the stand in court.
