Dear Friends,
As some of you know, I had a massive heart attack this past January. While I laid in a chilly Cath Lab, surrounded by my medical team, I wondered if my time to enter eternity had arrived. I thought of my family and the ministry God had called me to, and I was at peace.
I have heard that, on their death beds, people have regrets of what they didn't do in their life. Didn't follow their passion, didn't take a chance, didn't step out in faith, didn't live for God, etc. It is also a time when people tend to repent and ask (even bargain with) God to forgive and heal them.
I am thankful I didn't feel regret. I felt peace. I thanked God knowing that if I lived, I would have more days to serve. If I died, I would enter Glory. I was obviously concerned for my family but also knew they would be in God's hands. I also wondered about the iBIBLE that God has led me to produce.
Although I survived the heart attack, my heart was severely damaged. I spent the next five days in the ICU and was hooked up to a heart balloon pump. When they released me, they told me I was at high risk of arrhythmia and sudden cardiac arrest. Therefore, they fitted me with a Life (defibrillation) Vest. I was literally wearing a defibrillator around my chest 24/7.
After a week of rest, I was ready for work and knew my heart's desire was to continue producing the iBIBLE. I committed to use every breath God gave me to continue its production until completed and translated to every living language. It's my life's goal. Knowing the current condition of my physical heart and shortened life expectancy, if my heart didn't regain strength, this goal took on new meaning.
The iBIBLE is more than just another Bible project or collection of Bible stories. It is a complete Biblical narrative presented in a visual and interactive format. I truly believe it will change how people engage in the Word of God. And because it can easily be translated into any of the world's 7,000+ languages, I also believe it will help, to some degree, fulfill the Great Commission. |

Paul said to live is Christ and to die is gain. This Scripture has new meaning for me. While I know my journey leads to our Celestial City with our Eternal King, our calling is to share Christ. For me, this includes producing the iBIBLE.
This past Friday, after 13 weeks of wearing the Life Vest, I was told my heart has strengthened enough to take it off. Praise God! Wearing the vest 24/7 was not a big deal but proved to be a bit annoying and a constant reminder that my heart was so weak I may need to be "zapped" at any moment.
My heart is still weak, but it has regained about half of its' strength since leaving the hospital with the help of my cardio rehab program. I am so thankful for all your prayers and words of encouragement during this time. I knew some people were even praying for me daily, and I am humbled and honored.

While none of us knows what the future holds, I am thankful I can continue working on the iBIBLE. My prayer is for God to keep me ticking to see this project through. For me, for RevelationMedia, for you who are reading this now, it is our legacy – a visual Bible free to the world. A Bible that can be translated into any language and viewed by anyone, anywhere in the world, with a phone. A Bible presentation from the first of Genesis to the final Revelation.
God has a day for each of us to leave this world and stand before Him. Until that day, the best we can do is to be found in His will, having listened to His leading and serving in His Kingdom. Then there will be no regrets as we will know we lived for Christ, not for this world, and to die will be to gain!
Thank you again for your prayers and support.
