A couple of weeks ago, I posted part 1 of a two part interview with Dr. Rob Plummer about the pros and cons of the natural language acquisition approach to learning Greek.

I've been thinking about this subject for some time and listening to the arguments of NLA proponents.

There is no doubt that the approach has some benefits and merits, but this doesn't by any means invalidate the approach that seminaries and traditional grammars have used.

While there is certainly a lot to learn from any new (or old) approach to learning a language, whether the new approach is right for you really depends on why you're learning Greek in the first place.

So, in this video, Dr. Plummer and I talk about questions like, "Is the NLA faster for learning to read than the GTM?" "Are there any possible shortcomings with the NLA?" and "How can GTM teachers and students draw on NLA benefits?"
