We are pleased to announce a new class in our Foundations program, Essentials of Apologetics by Dr. Sean McDowell. Sean's concern is to help people think biblically, so the topics he covers are especially relevant for current issues. • What is Apologetics? • What is a Worldview? • A Thoughtful Spiritual Quest • Faith is not Blind • Why Truth Matters • Moral Argument for God • Evidence for the Soul • Intelligent Design • Are Miracles Possible? • Near-Death Experiences • Evidence for the Resurrection • Evidence for the Bible • If God, Why Evil? • Seven Tough Questions • Question Beneath the Question • Conversations with Skeptics We are thankful for the people who donated to make this class a reality. As a result, people around the world are able to learn about these important topics. Our hope is especially that people who are not followers of Christ will have many of their questions answered and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Pray and Give Periodically we come right out and ask you to join our mission of helping people to be rooted in Scripture and as a result grow in their faith. As I often say, you can't be like Jesus unless you know what he is like. Given the chaotic state of the world, now is the time to join with us and give answers to the questions people are asking. Who am I? Why am I here? Does anyone care? I spent the weekend in Chicago speaking at Christ Community Church outside of Chicago. It was a delightful experience as I talked about why people can trust their Bibles. When I was done, a man handed me an envelope with this sign made out of nails. There couldn't have been a more timely message. What we are doing really matters, it does require massive amounts of prayer, and it also requires significant financial support.
