View this email in your browser July 21, 2025 Commit Your Works to the Lord Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.     NASB      Do you want to know that your plans are going to work out, that things are going to work out the way you planned and the way you've made preparation for? There is a way that you can know that. It's by committing your works – everything you do, everything you are responsible for – to the Lord. Turn to the Lord in prayer. Say, "I've got this job, I've got this responsibility. This is something that requires my attention. I'm not sure I know how to handle it. I'm not quite sure that I know how it will work out, but Lord, I'm committing it to You. I'm putting it into Your hands; I'm asking You to take charge of it. I'm not relying on myself. I'm not depending simply on my own judgment. I'll do the best I can, Lord, but I know that the best I can do is not good enough, so I'm committing my works, my responsibilities, my activities to You."      In the original Hebrew of that Scripture, the word commit is "roll." You see, your works; your responsibilities are like a heavy burden you've got on your back and you don't know how to get it off. And, you know, the best way to get a heavy burden off your back is to just roll it off and dump it. And that's what that word means. Roll that responsibility off your back. Dump it at the Lord's feet, and ask Him to take charge of it. And He says He will take charge of it – that if you commit your works to Him, your plans will be established.      You don't need to be wondering and pondering all the time if things are going to work out. ICE, CBP Arrest at Least 361 Illegal Aliens During Marijuana Grow Site Operation, Rescue at Least 14 Children 07/13/2025 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY Office of Public Affairs ICE, CBP Arrest at Least 361 Illegal Aliens During Marijuana Grow Site Operation, Rescue at Least 14 Children DHS agents dodged bullets while conducting the operation in California WASHINGTON – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today released the following update regarding U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) operation at two marijuana grow sites in California. On July 10, 2025, federal law enforcement officers executed criminal warrant operations at marijuana grow sites in Carpinteria and Camarillo. As of July 13, at least 14 migrant children have been rescued from potential exploitation, forced labor, and human trafficking. Federal officers also arrested at least 361 illegal aliens from both sites in Carpinteria and Camarillo. ICE and CBP arrested violent and dangerous criminal illegal aliens during the operation who were working at the marijuana site, including: Roman Izquierdo—an illegal alien from Mexico—who has been convicted of kidnapping, attempted rape and attempted child molestation. ICE previously deported him in 2006. Juan Duarte-Velasquez—an illegal alien from Mexico—who has been convicted of rape and a DUI. Jose Orellana—an illegal alien from El Salvador—who has been convicted of a DUI and a hit-and-run with property damage. Adriana Gonzalez-Gonzalez—an illegal alien from Mexico—who has been convicted three times for burglary and a DUI. "At the California marijuana facilities, ICE and CBP law enforcement rescued at least 14 migrant children from what looks like exploitation, forced child labor, and potentially human trafficking or smuggling while facing assault and even gunfire. Our brave agents also arrested at least 361illegal aliens—including criminals with convictions for rape, serial burglary, hit and run and DUIs7" said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. "As Secretary Noem stated, this is quickly becoming one of the largest operations since President Trump took office." During the operation, more than 500 rioters attempted to disrupt operations. Four U.S. citizens are being criminally processed for assaulting or resisting officers. The rioters damaged vehicles and one violent agitator fired a gun at law enforcement officers. The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) is now offering $50,000 for any information leading to the arrest of this violent rioter. The investigation into immigration and potential child labor violations is ongoing. Despite a nearly 700 percent surge in assault against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and DHS law enforcement, officers continue to make American communities safer every day. "Over the weekend, our brave ICE agents arrested monstrous illegal aliens convicted of heinous crimes including rape of a child, sexual assault and possession of child pornography. ICE is putting their lives on the line to keep America's children and families safe," said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin "Yet, they are now facing a nearly 700 percent increase in assaults against them as gutter politicians attempt to attack and demonize our brave law enforcement. This is sick. We will only double down in getting these dangerous criminals off of our streets." Below are some of the criminal illegal aliens arrested over the weekend: ICE Atlanta arrested Porfirio Bernal-Fregoso, a 45-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of attempted rape of child and indecent liberties with a child in Durham County, North Carolina. ICE Baltimore arrested Edwin Gomez-Cervantes, an illegal alien from Guatemala, who was previously convicted for sexual abuse of a minor in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. ICE Houston arrested Sergio Guerrero-Galvan, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, whose previous conviction includes aggravated sexual assault of child in Travis County, Texas. ICE Salt Lake City arrested Juan Hernan Camarena-Cuevas, a 32-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, who was previously convicted for child abuse/injury. ICE Baltimore arrested Rodrigo Alexander Gomez-Ventura, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador convicted in Hagerstown, Maryland for possession of child pornography. ICE San Antonio arrested Hugo Sanchez-Benitez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico convicted of aggravated sexual assault in Houston, Texas. # # # ICE Employee Attacked by Rioters After Congressman Doxes Him to Mob at California Marijuana Facility 07/14/2025 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY Office of Public Affairs  ICE Employee Attacked by Rioters After Congressman Doxes Him to Mob at California Marijuana Facility ICE and CBP law enforcement rescued 14 children from potential exploitation, forced labor, and  trafficking WASHINGTON – On Thursday, July 10, U.S. Representative Salud Carbajal (D-Calif.) was among the mob of rioters who attacked federal immigration authorities as they executed a criminal search warrant at a marijuana facility. Rep. Carbajal doxed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) employee, who was subsequently attacked by rioters and sent to the emergency room. Images of injury inflicted on ICE employee after being doxed by Rep. Carbajal During the enforcement operation in Carpinteria, California, Rep. Carbajal spoke to an ICE Public Affairs Specialist, who gave the congressman his business card. The congressman then showed the ICE employee’s business card to the mob, making a target out of him. The employee was subsequently attacked, with lacerations to his left hand due to a rock being thrown at him. The employee had to go to the emergency room and get stitches for his injury. When ICE announced his actions led to an ICE employee’s injuries, the congressman deflected from his own actions by claiming oversight and falsely labeled the crowd as “peaceful protesters.” He did not address the injuries the ICE employee sustained as a result of his actions. Unfortunately, this is just another case of Democratic lawmakers labeling political stunts as oversight while they endanger the safety of ICE personnel. “The actions by Representative Carbajal are downright un-American. He dares to claim that his actions were simply congressional oversight, but doxing ICE personnel and inciting a mob of rioters to attack law enforcement is NOT oversight—it's abominable.” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “His actions sent an ICE employee to the emergency room. It’s no wonder that ICE agents are facing a 700% increase in assaults when radical members of Congress like Salud Carbajal and LaMonica McIver are openly encouraging and leading their supporters in assaulting law enforcement.” This operation led to the arrest of 361 illegal aliens and the rescue of 14 migrant children who were victims of potential exploitation, forced labor, and human trafficking. During the enforcement operation, officers were surrounded by a mob of 500 rioters who threw rocks and other objects at law enforcement and their vehicles. Furthermore, several of the illegal aliens arrested at the facilities had extensive criminal records, including: Rape Kidnapping Serial burglary Attempted rape Attempted child molestation DUI Hit-and-run The investigation into immigration and potential child labor violations is ongoing. Information will be released as it becomes available. # # # FACT CHECK: ICE Provides Multiple Meals Per Day to Criminal Illegal Aliens Held at Detention Facilities 07/14/2025 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY Office of Public Affairs FACT CHECK: ICE Provides Multiple Meals Per Day to Criminal Illegal Aliens Held at Detention Facilities All detainees receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner in accordance with recommended nutrition guidelines WASHINGTON – Today, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is setting the record straight on NBC’s false claims that illegal aliens who are held at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facilities are receiving inadequate amounts of food. “Any claim that there is a lack of food or subprime conditions at ICE detention centers are categorically false. All detainees are provided with proper meals, medical treatment and have opportunities to communicate with their family members and lawyers,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “Meals are certified by dieticians. Ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of individuals in our custody is a top priority at ICE. Why does the media continue to push the lies of criminal illegal aliens in detention and villainize ICE law enforcement?” CLAIM: Detainees say meals are now half the size they were last year, and they don’t receive dinner until midnight. FALSE: Allegations that there are chronic food shortages are unequivocally false. Each ICE facility’s Food Service Operations Director conducts a review of food portions, and detainees are being fed the portions as prescribed by the nutritionist, based on a daily 2400 to 2600 caloric intake. CLAIM: A health department report from Tacoma, Washington responded to 57 cases of suspected foodborne illness and determined the illness came from reheated collard greens. FALSE: While the Health Department was notified, the on-site medical team concluded that there was no evidence linking the illness to a specific food item, as claimed by the detainees. CLAIM: In Winn Correctional Center in Louisiana, a Russian immigrant said he has lost weight due to small portions since being detained. False: The facility has no food complaints from any Russian detainees. The Detention Standard Compliance Officer has not observed any food issues or complaints while conducting site visits. CLAIM: A detainee says there is too little food at El Paso Service Processing Center. On July 10, 2025, federal law enforcement officers executed criminal warrant operations at marijuana grow sites in Carpinteria and Camarillo. As of July 14, at least 14 migrant children have been rescued from potential exploitation, forced labor and human trafficking. ICE has transferred 10 of the children who are unaccompanied to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Federal officers also arrested at least 361 illegal aliens from both sites in Carpinteria and Camarillo. ICE and CBP arrested violent and dangerous criminal illegal aliens convicted of rape, child molestation and kidnapping during the operation who were working at the marijuana site, including: Santos Alberto Rodriguez-Jacinto, an illegal alien from El Salvador, who was arrested in El Salvador for Terroristic Threats in 2006 and 2011. Rodriguez-Jacinto was encountered and arrested in McAllen, Texas in August 2018. Josefina Lopez-Martinez, an illegal alien from Mexico, was previously deported in 1998 and convicted in 2023 of willful cruelty to a child in California. Jorge Luis Anaya-Garcia, an illegal alien from Mexico, was previously arrested in California for possession with intent to sell narcotics. Jose Vasquez-Lopez, an illegal alien from Mexico, who was previously removed from the United States on five separate occasions and convicted of battery in Florida. Fabian Fernando Antonio-Martinez, an illegal alien from Mexico, was granted voluntary return on two separate occasions. In February 2021, Antonio was arrested in California for felony possession of a firearm. Jesus Hernandez-Ramirez, an illegal alien from Mexico, who was previously arrested for indecent exposure and has granted voluntary return three times. Miguel Mejia-Echevearia, an illegal alien from El Salvador, who was arrested for a hit and run with property damage. Christina Martinez-Modesto, an illegal alien from Mexico, who was arrested for misdemeanor assault and battery of her spouse. Cinthia Paola Cardona-Mendoza, an illegal alien from Mexico, who was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Adriana Gonzalez-Gonzalez, an illegal alien from Mexico, who has been convicted three times for burglary and a DUI. “During the operation at the marijuana grow sites in California, DHS law enforcement rescued at least 14 children who may have been exploited, forced into labor and trafficked. Ten of those children have now been turned over to HHS,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “It is shameful that as we continue our investigation and reveal the facts, politicians and activists are continuing to defend violent criminal illegal aliens over the safety of children and our communities.” # # # DHS Announces ICE Law Enforcement are Now Facing an 830 Percent Increase in Assaults 07/15/2025 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY Office of Public Affairs DHS Announces ICE Law Enforcement are Now Facing an 830 Percent Increase in Assaults Mainstream media lies and hysterical political rhetoric are directly contributing to a massive surge in attacks on federal immigration enforcement officers WASHINGTON – Today, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials are facing an 830 percent increase in assaults from January 21st to July 14th compared with the same period in 2024. "Brave ICE law enforcement are risking their lives every day to keep our communities safe from the worst of the worst criminals," said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. "ICE law enforcement are succeeding to remove terrorists, murderers, pedophiles and the most depraved among us from America's communities, even as crazed rhetoric from gutter politicians are inspiring a massive increase in assaults against them. It is reprehensible that our officers are facing this threat while simply doing their jobs and enforcing the law." In recent weeks, both the media and politicians have escalated their anti-ICE rhetoric. Democratic members of Congress have been caught red-handed doxing and even physically assaulting ICE officials. Just this week, Representative Salud Carbajal (D-CA) showed a violent mob an ICE employee's business card, putting a target on his back and prompting the mob to attack him. The official was struck by a rock and sent to the emergency room where he received multiple stitches. Injuries sustained by an ICE employee after he was doxed to a violent mob by Rep. Carbajal Earlier this year, Representative LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) trespassed on and stormed the Delaney Hall detention facility, where she proceeded to physically assault an ICE officer. She has been indicted on federal assault charges. In Portland, ICE officers have been doxed and threatened by local antifa-affiliated organizations who are posting their pictures and personal addresses and threatening them and their families. One officer even had an individual show up at their house and dump trash on their lawn, which included signs that read "F**k you" and named the officer directly. Trash dumped on ICE officer's lawn with threatening language in Portland, Oregon Meanwhile, the mainstream media continues to publish alarmist, patently false stories about federal immigration enforcement efforts. During an enforcement operation where ICE and federal law enforcement rescued 14 children from potential exploitation, forced labor, and human trafficking, the media falsely reported that a man died in law enforcement custody. This was an outright lie. The man was not being pursued by law enforcement but still chose to climb up to the roof of a green house, where he fell 30 feet. The media also falsely accused ICE of "targeting" children in a clear attempt to demonize law enforcement. Rather than separate families, ICE asks mothers if they want to be removed with their children or if the child should be placed with someone else safe the parent designates. DHS has debunked dozens of these and other fake news narratives that are demonizing federal law enforcement, especially ICE officers, who are just trying to do their job. Their lies and fake stories continue to stir up hate and violence, which is leading to these assaults. # # # Restoring Order: ICE Arrests Illegal Alien with 40 Criminal Convictions 07/15/2025 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY Office of Public Affairs Restoring Order: ICE Arrests Illegal Alien with 40 Criminal Convictions Worst of the worst arrests also include drug traffickers and child sexual predator WASHINGTON – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today announced U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested criminal illegal aliens with egregious criminal histories from child sexual abuse to organized drug trafficking and conspiracy to defraud the United States. These arrests are part of ICE’s ongoing effort to identify and remove the worst of the worst threatening our public safety and exploiting America’s immigration system.  Among the most egregious arrests was Murad Sanih Awad, an illegal alien from Jordan, taken into custody by ICE Atlanta. Awad has a staggering 40 prior criminal convictions, including sexual battery in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute in Gilmer County. Despite his long history of criminal behavior, Awad remained in our country, underscoring the urgent need for renewed enforcement efforts prioritizing the safety of American communities.  “Awad is yet another egregious example of what happens when open border policies are paired with spineless leadership,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “Awad was allowed to terrorize American communities and accumulate 40 criminal convictions, including sexual battery, without consequence. The Biden era of negligence is over. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, we are restoring law and order and ensuring dangerous criminal aliens are removed before they can harm more innocent Americans.”  Other arrests include:  Niceforo Ruiz-Najera, an illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of facilitation of aggravated sexual battery of a 4-year-old child in Shelbyville, TN  Ismael Galvan-Perez, an illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of drug trafficking in Salt Lake City, UT.   Abdul Waris Akinsanya, an illegal alien from Nigeria, convicted of forgery, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and fleeing in a vehicle in Oklahoma City, OK.  Victor Manuel Villalobos-Romero, an illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine in the Southern District of Florida. # # # Coast Guard seizes over 240,000 pounds of cocaine, doubling amount interdicted over previous year 07/15/2025 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY Office of Public Affairs Coast Guard seizes over 240,000 pounds of cocaine, doubling amount interdicted over previous year Coast Guard seizes enough cocaine to kill the entire population of the states of California, Texas, and New York combined.  WASHINGTON – The U.S. Coast Guard announced Tuesday that it has seized 242,244 pounds of cocaine since the start of President Trump's administration on January 20th. This is a more than 100% increase over the cocaine seized under the previous administration over the same period in 2024. Since just 1.2 grams of cocaine can be lethal, the Coast Guard has seized over 91 million potentially lethal doses — enough to kill the entire population of the states of California, Texas, and New York combined. This milestone comes after President Trump ordered a surge of Coast Guard resources to America's maritime border on his first day in office, tripling the number of forces along the U.S. southern border and maritime approaches.  "The U.S. southern border is an interconnected system, and as illegal migration and smuggling become harder across the southwest land border, cartels may try different routes," said Coast Guard Acting Commandant Adm. Kevin Lunday. "Our message to the cartels is this: We own the sea, not you. Using every capability at our disposal, the Coast Guard will prevent threats from reaching our borders."  "Thanks to the heroic and diligent work of the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard, these drugs will never hit American streets to poison our communities and destroy American families," said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. "Securing our maritime borders is critical to making America safe again. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem's leadership, the Coast Guard is getting the resources and support it needs to fulfill its mission like never before." Under the President's leadership, Secretary Noem is implementing Force Design 2028, a full-scale effort to transform the Coast Guard into a more agile, capable, and responsive force. President Trump and Secretary Noem are restoring order. We are removing threats, standing up for victims and restoring law and order in our streets.”  Criminal illegal alien from Mexico Edgar Ismael Gomez-Lara was arrested by ICE Houston and convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. In May 2024, Houston police officers responded to a brutal stabbing, finding a 24-year-old victim suffering from multiple knife wounds. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital in critical condition. Witnesses reported Gomez-Lara fled the scene, but responding officers located and arrested him just blocks away. Investigators determined the stabbing stemmed from a verbal altercation that escalated into a violent knife attack. Additional arrests include:  Joel B. Reyes, an illegal alien from El Salvador, convicted of first-degree rape with forcible compulsion in Nassau County, New York. Arrested by ICE Los Angeles. Audy Nolasco-Vasquez, an illegal alien from El Salvador and a registered sex offender, convicted of invasion of privacy involving nudity for sexual arousal in Ames, Iowa. Arrested by ICE St. Paul.  Cristian Ortiz-Quintero, an illegal alien from Colombia, convicted of nine counts of possession of child pornography in Fairfax County, Virginia. Arrested by ICE Washington. Enrique Vazquez-Vera, an illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of second-degree murder in Sampson County, North Carolina. Song had been on the FBI's Most Wanted list since a Blue Alert was issued following his alleged role in the organized, armed attack.  Song, a former U.S. Marine Corps reservist, joined a violent group of at least 10 individuals in opening fire on officers at the federal facility just after 10:30 p.m. on Independence Day. He is charged with three counts of attempted murder of federal agents and three counts of discharging a firearm during a crime of violence. His capture brings the total number of arrests in the attack to 14.  "On Independence Day, as Americans were celebrating our freedoms, a group of violent extremists attempted to assassinate federal officers protecting us from violent criminals," said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. "Song's arrest sends a clear message: under President Trump and Secretary Noem, if you lay a hand on an ICE agent, you will NOT walk free. We will not forget, and we will not rest until every attacker is in custody."  The Prairieland Detention Center, which housed more than 1,000 illegal aliens on the night of the attack, includes detainees with convictions for rape, child molestation, murder, kidnapping, arson, human trafficking, and terrorism. Nearly 50 known members of MS-13, Tren de Aragua, and other transnational gangs were among the detainees, in addition to 13 Known or Suspected Terrorists (KSTs).  This is just the latest in a disturbing pattern of politically motivated violence targeting DHS personnel. Last week, ICE officers conducting enforcement operations in San Francisco were assaulted by violent protestors. In June, rioters stormed an ICE field office in Portland. On July 17, ICE removed Reyes from American communities. Reyes, a criminal alien from Mexico, entered the United States as a lawful permanent resident in 1990. While in the United States he was convicted of a DWI in 1995 and convicted again in Texas for repeatedly sexually assaulting his 12-year-old niece resulting in her pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage in 2011. Forensic DNA testing confirmed with over 99.9% certainty that Trejo Reyes fathered the unborn child. A U.S. immigration judge approved Trejo Reyes’ order for removal in 2011, and ICE removed him to Mexico on July 17, 2025, after his 16 years of confinement. “As the media and politicians continue to carry water for criminal illegal aliens who have committed indescribable acts of evil in our country, the brave men and women of ICE are arresting and removing the worst of the worst from the U.S.,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “Just today, ICE deported Pedro Trejo Reyes who raped and impregnated a defenseless child. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, DHS is continuing to make America safe.” ERO agents across the country carried out similar arrests of criminal illegal aliens with serious convictions, including: Edwin Jacobo Hernandez Mateo, a criminal alien from Honduras, who was charged in Waller County, Texas, for raping and impregnating a minor under the age of 14. Hernandez was arrested by ICE June 17 and remains in ICE custody at the Montgomery Processing Center. Juan Gabriel Zamorano-Gutierrez, an illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of molesting a minor in Ontario, California. Edmundo Vasquez-Gaxiola, an illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of aggravated indecent assault after being accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl over the course of several years in York Springs, Pa. According to a Pennsylvania State Police affidavit, the victim disclosed the abuse began when she was around 5 years old and continued until she was about 11.  Kelvin Civil, an illegal alien from Haiti, convicted of inducing a minor for sex, assault and battery on a police officer, and resisting arrest in Taunton, Massachusetts. He was lawfully detained on June 2, 2025, and processed for expedited removal. Velasquez was placed into ICE's male detention center in accordance with the President's Executive Order and for the safety of women in ICE custody.   "Velasquez—a biological male—was placed in a men's facility in alignment with the President's Executive Order and for the safety of women in ICE custody. The individual—Andres Pineda-Mogollon—is one of four dangerous criminal illegal aliens who escaped Delaney Hall on June 12, 2025. He is the final detainee to be captured.  “We are tremendously grateful to our brave ICE agents and law enforcement partners for capturing Andres Pineda-Mogollon and the other three dangerous criminal illegal aliens who escaped Delaney Hall. Politicians and activists relentlessly try to smear ICE—but the facts remain true: Delaney Hall houses dangerous criminals, including these four fugitives who committed aggravated assault, burglary, theft and even threatened to kill law enforcement,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “Now, these slimeballs no longer pose a threat to public safety.”  CAPTURED: On July 17, 2025, Andres Pineda-Mogollon, an illegal alien from Colombia, was arrested by ICE in Los Angeles, California. He overstayed a tourist visa and entered the U.S. in 2023 under the Biden administration. On April 25, 2025, the New York City Police Department arrested Pineda-Mogollon for petit larceny. On May 21, 2025, the Union, New Jersey Police Department arrested Pineda-Mogollon for residential burglary, conspiracy residential burglary, and possession of burglary tools. On June 13, 2025, Joel Enrique Sandoval-Lopez, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras, was arrested by ICE, FBI, and Passaic Police in Passaic, New Jersey. During the arrest, Sandoval-Lopez kicked and threatened to kill the law enforcement officers. This criminal illegal alien’s criminal record includes unlawful possession of a handgun and aggravated assault. On June 13, 2025, Joan Sebastian Castaneda-Lozada, a criminal illegal alien from Colombia whose criminal record includes arrests for burglary, theft, and conspiracy to commit burglary, attempted to turn himself in to local authorities at the New Jersey State Police Bridgeton Station. Due to their sanctuary policies, the State Police refused to take him into custody because they do not work with ICE. On June 15, Castaneda-Lozada surrendered himself to Agents from FBI and ICE in Milleville, New Jersey. Franklin Norberto Bautista-Reyes is an illegal alien from Honduras who illegally entered the U.S. in 2021 under the Biden administration. Among those taken into custody were previously deported felons, gang members, and individuals with long histories of violent criminal conduct.  One of the most serious arrests was of Phong Thanh Nguyen, a criminal illegal alien from Vietnam, with a conviction for second-degree murder, indecent exposure, and a U.S. immigration judge issued a final order of removal in 2012. Nguyen was arrested by ICE Los Angeles officers after it was determined he had violated the terms of his supervision. Despite his murder conviction, indecent exposure, and removal order, Nguyen was released under an Order of Supervision in 2012 during the Obama administration.  “A Vietnamese national murdered someone, exposed himself in public and remained on U.S. soil for years,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “ICE has a duty to protect the American public from criminal illegal aliens. President Trump and Secretary Noem will not allow convicted criminal illegal alien killers to hide behind outdated policies. Our message to criminal illegal aliens is clear, leave now.
