The rest of the title of the book I reviewed is "Biblical Theology of OT and NT by Brevard S. Childs Theological Reflection on the Christian Bible"
The following is what I posted for them to decide if they liked what I said:
"I checked the book out here
the sentence on page 204 is truncated at the end of the page. The entire sentence according to the version I checked out of the library is as follows:
"The rise of literary theories such as reader-response and deconstruction have certainly cast a shadow over those who thought an appeal to narrative was a way out of the treacherous waters of history."
If you enjoy Brevard S. Childs and his outlines and Bibliography in this Google Preview, I highly recommend that you check out the entire book from your local library. Look for https://ocpl.enkilibrary.org/ if you live in Orange County CA USA otherwise look for "Enki - indulge your curiosity" from your online library in the city or county where you live.
If you enjoy lots of blog posts about various topics having to do with this type of material, I blog about it a lot at this location: https://webmaster220.blogspot.com/.
