View this email in your browser Dear Friends, Today is one of the best Father's Day ever. But maybe for reasons a bit different than you might expect. Father's Day for me has not always been a good memory. My biological father died in a tragic car accident when I was just 7 months old. I obviously never knew him. My adoptive father was an alcoholic, and my stepfather had challenges that prevented any semblance of a healthy father-son relationship. However, God has brought three other men into my life that have served as father figures. I am so thankful for each of them as they encouraged me, taught me precious life lessons and demonstrated tremendous integrity and Godliness. In Matthew 12 we read the account of when a man approached Jesus telling him that his mother and brothers were outside and wanting to speak with Him. Jesus responds, "Who is my mother, and my brothers?" (v48). Jesus goes on to define his family members as those who do the will of His Father (v50). I am so thankful for the body of Christ. On earth we have two families. We have our natural family, and we have our spiritual family. I believe each are critical and play an important role in our lives. However, only our spiritual family can encourage us in our faith and in service in God's Kingdom. This earth, as we know it, will pass away. Our earthly relationships, as we know them, will pass away. Only that which is spiritual shall live with Christ for eternity. This week I received a letter from Gina. I have not met her, but she is my sister in Christ. I was nearly in tears reading her letter and thinking, "this is the best Father's Day gift ever!" Our Heavenly Father can restore all that we suffer here on earth. He may restore the suffering in Heaven, or He may choose to restore some of the hardships here on earth. We cannot look to this world to take away our pain. I am blessed in that God has restored my pain of my early years with a spiritual family within RevelationMedia. Mr. Cleary, I have been following your emails from RevelationMedia and wanted to share the joy it has brought to my life. I praise the Lord for your life and Mrs. Cleary's as well. I am originally from Honduras and I currently work in Healthcare, providing medical care to underserved communities (Hispanic, Haitian creole, Arabic), and it has brought tears to my eyes to see how The Pilgrim's Progress has been translated into so many languages and now in the process of being translated into sign language. I followed closely when you shared with us about your heart condition and how the Lord strengthened you during the process. Thank you for letting the Lord use you and your wife as instruments to reach those who desperately need the Lord. I have been able to share The Pilgrim's Progress with our friends from back home in Honduras and know that it has been of great blessing. We have a 7-year-old daughter, Isabella, who was impacted by how the world can deceive us with things that "seem good". At her young age she has come to understand what it means to follow the straight path and how the Lord desires us to persevere until the end. We have been placing the armor of God prior to sending both our daughters to school, and she has started to share with all our family who are unbelievers of the love of the Father in this fallen world and the promise of eternal life in the Celestial City. Our youngest daughter Alessia, age 5, is starting to understand the love of the Lord. We have seen this movie over and over and have shared it with our friends, believers and unbelievers. We pray that many more may come to the Lord understanding that the Lord has promised to be with us in trials and that we must persevere until the end. Thank you for this wonderful gift, and thank you for making it available for free (at least during the summer) during this time of uncertainty. May the Lord bless you and your family, and I encourage you to continue looking unto Jesus...
