View this email in your browser Dear Friends, From the very beginning, the vision for iBIBLE has been to bring the grand narrative of the Bible to all people. I knew we could produce the visual Bible on DVD or stream it on any smartphone, tablet or computer, but I know from my own travels that there are many places in the world where none of these are possible. I think about the people in Sudan, high in the Nuba mountains, where they live in fear amid horrific bombings. Everything there must be trucked in, and they are hungry for the gospel. If I was going to make a visual presentation of the entire Biblical Narrative, it needed to be accessible to anyone, anywhere, even Sudan. So, I committed to make the world's best portable projection system. Of course, there are portable projection systems on the market, but this mission required something unique. Something that wouldn't fail the people in remote villages that may have no other way to hear God's divine truth. We needed a system that was extremely durable, sounded great and would run for 10+ hours without an external power source. We would call it the StoryBox! And as God often does, he sent us the right person, at just the right time. Late last year we met William, a retired Bose engineer, and he has been diligently helping us build the StoryBox! This week our newest prototype arrived, and I was excited to take it outside and crank it up! The sound was amazing, the battery worked great, and the case is nearly indestructible.  We will use an iPad to deliver the content, and we are testing small "pico" projectors. The StoryBox will be self-contained with everything a mission worker needs to turn any village or village church into a movie theater! The internal battery supply will power each component for over 10 hours and can be recharged with nearly any power source including a car battery or solar panel.  The StoryBox will be self-contained with everything a mission worker needs to turn any village or village church into a movie theater! We hope to be field testing toward the end of this year and in production sometime next year. The StoryBox, unlike most portable projection systems, is meant to remain on the field. They contain the absolute highest quality components and will be priceless on the mission field to show content like The Pilgrim's Progress and iBIBLE. Of course, we can also load any Christian content on the system including films like The Jesus Film. The StoryBox, unlike most portable projection systems, is meant to remain on the field. The StoryBox also serves as a PA system allowing the missionary to share with the audience. We are extremely excited about launching the StoryBox, and many mission workers are eagerly awaiting taking them into their field. When I was in the refugee camps of Iraq, I watched as visitors set up an outside screen to show a film. The refugees watched the setup knowing they would have the treat of watching a film that evening. As the sun went down, they began to gather in front of the screen. Some had plastic chairs, while the children sat on the ground. The audience quickly grew to a few hundred eager viewers. While I was excited to watch this unfold, I was disappointed by two facts: The film they showed was a Disney animation. It was well received but obviously offered no Gospel presentation.  The visitors left with all the equipment to show the film. I committed to making the StoryBox in a way that would allow quality Christian media to be loaded into it, and I would leave it in the field with the mission workers. Today that vision is coming closer and closer to becoming a reality. This is my first announcement of the StoryBox. We will make public announcements once the StoryBox is fully completed, but I wanted to share it with our RevelationMedia family first.
