We have exciting things planned for the rest of July, and we will be sure to update you on new offers, campaign updates, virtual events, partner resources, and more. Our local businesses define our neighborhoods and provide us with the products and services that help us live our lives to the fullest. We hope that this campaign sparks a long-term movement to connect small businesses to the resources and networks they need to thrive while strengthening our local economies. And, as we all have a role to play in continuing to reduce risk and drive down the curve, we're here to help! Sound fair? Great! Here's what you need to do next.... STEP 1: Please whitelist and prioritize all emails from the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) at osba@gobiz.ca.gov so that you can receive the full benefit of highlighted information. STEP 2: Take a minute and join CalOSBA on social media, so that you can help us amplify the campaign and receive updates, inspirational stories and more – social media will be another way we will all stay in touch. Facebook: facebook.com/CaliforniaOSBA Twitter: twitter.com/CaliforniaOSBA Nextdoor: Nextdoor.com/CaliforniaOSBA STEP 3: You have the power to help spark a movement within your networks to support your local businesses! Personalize the graphics and messages from our digital media toolkit, and highlight some of your favorite spots! ...then, please share this email with them. We must ALL join together to support ALL of our local businesses during this time and beyond. STEP 4: Download your digital media toolkit and start sharing this information with your friends and family. Send a social message, add a website banner to your page, print out some posters to share with local businesses. Your efforts to share how important it is to support local businesses are critical. STEP 4: Finally, and perhaps most important, let's help our businesses create safe shopping environments. Many small businesses across the state are trying their hardest to serve the community while keeping their workforce and customers safe. These small businesses need our help. Find industry guidance and a PPE marketplace here. We are stronger together. Our actions save lives. #ShopSafeShopLocal Thank you! Isabel Guzman Director, CalOSBA |
