☀️ God Is Never On Vacation
Blessings, Dear Friend!

Your habits create your destiny.
That's certainly true when it comes to reading the Bible!
In the book of John we read: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Do you know what this remarkable statement meant in the first-century Jewish-Greek context?? Ancient Jewish writers spoke of the “Word” (Logos) as an agent of God’s Creation and action in the world! John’s powerful introduction participates in this dialogue among different Jewish streams of the time. They believed that studying “the Word” could bring about real contact with the divine Being who made us and the whole universe. Isn’t it worth making a habit of searching the Scriptures and history to understand more about God? To know Him better? Connect with and honor your Creator by seeking to know the Word in truth, informed by the original history, culture, and language.
It will change your life. It has changed ours.

It’s undoubtedly the worst day on the Jewish calendar: a day so wretched that we do not even engage in the great joy of Torah study.
