Prophecy Thread of Week 28Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary Definition of Truth: Conformity to fact or reality; exact accordance with that which is, or has been, or shall be. The truth of history constitutes its whole value. We rely on the truth of the scriptural prophecies. JESUS CHRIST IS GOD'S SON, THE MESSIAHJesus Christ was from before all creation with God the Father (Col 1:15). He emptied Himself of divine power, becoming a servant in the form of human likeness (Php 2:6-7). Then had divine empowerment revived at His baptism being filled with the Holy Spirit. At that time the Father validated Him when He spoke audibly for all to hear stating this is His Son. The Father raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at His right hand, reaffirming that He is His son eternally. Today, we can be filled with His Holy Spirit having a portion of His divine nature within us (Act 2:2).
