Persecution has been increasing for Christians living in Nigeria . . . and now, the worst has happened!

Dear Friend, Persecution has been increasing for Christians living in Nigeria . . . and now, the worst has happened! Militant Muslim gunmen have murdered local believers—including one local pastor—destroying everything in their path as they occupy strategic regions of Nigeria.   Bible translators and their families are on the run—trying to find safe shelter and security wherever they can. Fear and terror have gripped these believers as they suffer tragic losses and hopelessness.  My heart is heavy today with this devastating news. In my role as the Vice President of Translation Services at Wycliffe Associates, I have the privilege of seeing the way these brothers and sisters cling to the Lord in times of crisis. And as the body of Christ, we can come alongside them and help.
