World Watchdog says ISIS extremists in Mozambique enslaved hundreds of women, girls as sex slaves Militants linked to the Islamic State terror group in the southern African country of Mozambique have enslaved more than 600 women and girls, many of which have been abused and sold as sex slaves, a report by Human Rights Watch reveals. The watchdog reports that the armed group Al Sunnah wa Jama'ah, also known as Al-Shabab, in the northern province of Cabo Delgado has forced younger, healthy-looking and lighter-skinned women and girls in their custody to "marry" their fighters while others have been sold to foreign fighters for between $600 and $1,800. Church & Ministries Stone withdraws defamation lawsuit against Moore Prominent Southern Baptist Pastor Mike Stone has withdrawn a defamation lawsuit against former Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission President Russell Moore. Stone sued Moore in October over letters that Moore leaked to the press after leaving the ERLC in May that alleged that SBC leaders mishandled a "crisis of sexual abuse" and that Moore and his family had endured unfair treatment at the hands of denominational leaders. The order also addressed pastoral care for such individuals, saying, "Let us open our hearts to the love of God that we may overflow with love and kindness and respect for others." The Diocese of Marquette released a statement last Thursday stating that "The Church teaches that persons experiencing feelings of same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria is not sinful, but freely acting upon them is."
