To you the reader of this ACLJ Newsletter,
Jesus consistently modeled the importance of praying daily – no matter what. In fact, after a full day of preaching in the synagogue and healing the sick, Jesus was surely exhausted. Yet we read:
And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed. (Mark 1:35)
Just as Jesus made sure to carve out time in a busy schedule to commune with His Father, we should too. Prayer isn't just a right; it's a responsibility we all possess.
Unfortunately, the right to public prayer is at risk. One court ruled it unconstitutional, and our attorneys were back in court last week fighting for your right to pray. Please pray that the ACLJ is successful in defending public prayer. We can't afford to lose this essential religious liberty.
If you haven't downloaded this quarter's 2024 ACLJ Prayer Guide, it's not too late. Inside, you will find devotions for spiritual encouragement and ways you can pray for our cases.
