God, I will praise you in the midst of brokenness. When everyone—friends, family, and even my leaders—abandons me, I will look to you. My life is an open book; you know I've done nothing to deserve this. All I've done is pursued you with passion. Yet they treat me with contempt, just as they did you.
It's in these times, when I'm exhausted and discouraged, that my praise means the most to you. I won't stop trusting you. I won't stop crying out for you. You will come and rescue me. You know what I'm going through. Your compassion, grace, and constant love are never held back from me—even when I don't feel it. I'm always in your thoughts.
My sincere worship means more to you than any gift or sacrifice. As I keep my heart humble, you'll not only pull me out of this pit, you'll lift me to the highest place to be near you. You won't abandon me. You'll revive my heart and flood it with peace and joy. I will rejoice in you, my Savior, and tell the world how great and glorious you are.
