One Church Body
This content is drawn from: Romans 12
“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:2-3
One of my favorite activities when I worked at camp was kayaking. Most campers thought it would be fun because it looked so easy. My joy came from the complicated finesse it required. Anyone can get in a kayak and paddle, but many end up coming back soon or returning very sore. With experience, kayakers learn to utilize their arms in conjunction with their legs through good posture, transferring the force from the arm muscles, through the paddle, and into the boat via their heels. It’s an action that’s compounded when two people try to paddle the same boat.
In a movement called the Emergent Church, believers are falsely encouraged to find their own way to God through their own personal efforts and “private” faith. Alternatively, God’s Word says that the body of Christ is many members, each dependent on the other and none more important than the others.
We are called to persevere together and work together—like two kayakers in tandem—to build a more Christ-like church. This is a witness to the world for the glory of God.
What completes the armor of God in Ephesians 6 is prayer. Always be in prayer for the unity of Christ’s saints and His church.

The following request applies to any of the christian ministries that are currently getting visitors from my blog:
I am currently blogging: https://webmaster220.blogspot.com I would like to place a banner on the right side of my home page that promotes your ministry If I do that and it helps your ministry grow and expand do you have a suggestion as to what type of commission or contribution could be paid to my ministry. The reason I am saying that is there are a lot of ministries out there that are buying advertising space online and yours could be one of them for all I know. I have been an affiliate marketer for years on my blog but no commissions have ever been earned even though I am doing everything required to be done to earn the commissions. My blog readers are just not interested in spending any money on any of the goods or services discussed in my banner ads and text links. To reply, use the contact form below this paragraph Thanks, Rick Livermore - Webmaster220
