Below you will find answers to some commonly asked questions about the free online courses offered by Dallas Theological Seminary.
Are these courses really free?
Yes! These courses are provided free by generous donors. If you would like to make a gift to support these online courses, you may do so here.
How do these courses work?
After you sign up, we will send you an email with a link to the first lesson of the course. The email usually takes a few minutes to arrive. If you have not received it after ten minutes, please check your spam folder.
You will then receive a new lesson each week for the duration of the course. These emails are sent every seven days based on the day and time you signed up. So, if you sign up on a Friday, you will receive your course lessons on Fridays.
What should I do each week?
You are free to study in a manner that suits your learning style. But in general, we recommend that you watch the video, review the lesson points for each week, and take the quiz at the end of each lesson.
Are these courses accredited?
No, these courses are not accredited at Dallas Theological Seminary or any other institution. However, they are adapted from the same classroom teaching that DTS students enjoy.
Where is my certificate?
Once you complete all of the quizzes for a course, a link appears close to the quiz section. You can click the link to download your certificate.
