When you allow such thoughts to enter your mind, it powers the winds of doubt. Negative thoughts, contrary to God's Word, become an invitation for doubt to blow through your emotions like a tornado causing confusion and chaos. James 1:5 says, "And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won't see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace" (TPT). Here are 6 ways to take out the winds of doubt
- Ask God for wisdom (He's already promised He'll give it to you; James 1:5).
- See the obstacle or difficulty you're facing as an opportunity for great joy (James 1:4).
- When your faith is tested, stir up the power within you to endure this season (James 1:4).
- Expect God's strength to help your endurance grow.
- Stay steady with confident faith.
- Ask others to pray for you and agree with you in faith.
