Invitation to establish a match fund

Hi Webmaster, I hope this email finds you well. It's been an incredibly busy, energizing, and productive time at Charity Navigator. To ensure we have the funding to continue to innovate and provide you with even more tools and resources to guide giving, I'm reaching out to ask for your help in establishing a match fund. Chances are you've at least seen or even donated to matching campaigns before - this is where your gift is matched and the impact of your generosity is doubled, tripled, quadrupled, etc. Many donors wait patiently for a match before they give. From time to time, Charity Navigator harnesses the power of matches as well, driving donations that fuel our work, as we are not only the nation's largest and most trusted nonprofit evaluator, but a 501(c)(3) charity, too! Today, we have set out to establish a $50,000 match fund by 11:59:59 PM EDT on September 30, 2020. Most matches are funded by a board of directors or a major donor. When you support our Match Fund initiative, you (along with your fellow supporters) become the funder. Your collective leadership gift will inspire the generosity of others towards Charity Navigator in the future, doubling the impact of your generosity. I hope I can count on you to donate today and help establish the match fund.   Support Charity Navigator How it works When you support Charity Navigator through our Match Fund Initiative, we'll place your gift into an account and use it to motivate other supporters to make gifts to Charity Navigator on or by December 31, 2020. Each gift that a fellow supporter gives will unlock your support in September. You will not be asked to contribute to any campaigns leveraging your generosity toward the match fund.
