Forward this Email to a Friend Dear Friends, We are encouraged by the number of people who have signed our Petition Against Netflix for their promotion and airing of the film "Cuties." Our goal is to get as close to 100,000 signatures as we can before delivering to Netflix, and we are getting close! We are even more encouraged by the number of people that have told us they, like us, have spoken out and cancelled Netflix.  In addition to the petition drive, I promised to seek alternatives for quality Christian and family content, like RedeemTV, a donor-supported SVOD platform from our friends at Christian History Institute. This week I have another great opportunity to share, but before I do, I want to answer a common question that we have received about our petition drive.  The question is: "Does a petition like this really hurt, or even influence, a giant organization like Netflix?"  While Netflix has obviously not changed their minds about "Cuties," and their stock will probably not suffer, the real question is, "Has this information changed your relationship with Netflix and your commitment not to let child pornographic content like this into your home?" And I hope that question can be answered with a resounding "YES" by Christian families around the world.  Pastor Richard Wurmbrand taught me a long time ago that we often debate answers to hard questions when the question itself may be flawed. The first line of the petition states, "We will not support Netflix while…" So, in signing the petition, we are making our stance known. We will not give our time and money to an organization that is overtly promoting the sexual exploitation of minor children. It is not about how Netflix responds; it is about our response. With this said, I would like to recommend another option for quality Christian content. This past week we spoke with the leaders of Yippee. Yippee, like Netflix, is on online SVOD platform that specializes in content for children. They are fairly new, growing fast, and in my opinion, they have the best children's content available.  They carry Veggietales (including original episodes), a series I produced called The Adventures of Ryan Defrates, Backyard Bible Camp, and hundreds of other great shows geared toward younger audiences.  Last week I cancelled Netflix. This week I signed up for Yippee, and will be giving it to my grandchildren Tally (5) and Tadum (3).
