Dear webmaster220,
We've written to you about some pretty significant obstacles that have arisen since Roe v. Wade was overturned this summer.
Pro-choice advocates have ramped up smear campaigns against our network of affiliated pregnancy centers. They've attacked some of the buildings, and threatened some of their workers.
Folks have called into our national hotline with no other objective than to heckle our coaches and waste their time that could be spent helping women and men who are desperately searching for answers when they are asking themselves some of the biggest questions of their lives… whether or not to take the lives of their unborn children…
Big Tech is doing their very best to make it easy to overlook the compassion, hope, and help available in local communities every day for parents facing unplanned pregnancies. Google is shoving pregnancy centers out of local search results listings, and Yelp is unfairly adding discriminatory consumer notices to JUST pregnancy center listings giving the perception that they are untrustworthy.
Meanwhile, Big Abortion is working overtime with its allies, leaving no stone unturned to make abortion legal and plentiful wherever it can. Chemical abortions — those done at home, by pill, by telemedicine — are on the rise because mail can get to homes without appointments and cross state lines more easily.
But even if women don't get chemical abortions at home, did you know that there are scholarships out there to help women travel out of states with abortion bans to states without them, so they can get abortions? They can often get their travel costs covered, and sometimes their hotel stays, too.
Care Net is working with local affiliated pregnancy centers and an increasing number of churches to tackle all of these challenges… and to look ahead to the ones still coming.
The Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade was a huge victory, but it didn't end the work ahead. It made very clear just how much work is still to be done.
In light of all of this, we asked for more folks to step forward as monthly partners this past week. But, as I'm sure you are well aware, the economy is tough right now.
Maybe you're one of the people who just really, truly cannot help right now. If so, you're not alone and we understand. Please pray for the days ahead. We still desperately need you in this fight with us, and your prayers mean EVERYTHING.
But…
But maybe you're one of the people who can do something.
Maybe you've run the numbers, and you just can't help at the level we've been asking for.
That's okay, too.
But, if you are reading this email, and you feel God pricking at your heart to do something…
I'm looking at you, friend, and telling you that we would be SO GRATEFUL for whatever you can do to help each month. We're looking for 69 more monthly donors, and I'm getting really nervous that we're not going to find the 120 we'd hoped for before September 30.
We've heard from a number of people who want to help and can't (because, let's face it, inflation is REAL and it's HURTING a lot of people right now), but they're praying for those who can step up.
Are you one of the people who we're praying will answer the call?
If you are, you can start your monthly gift at this secure link: https://donate.care-net.org/carenet/save-lives-365-dmini220915
The opportunities ahead are great, but to continue pressing forward to save more unborn babies' lives and reach more parents with the hope of Christ, we need your help.
Thank you so much for everything you do. Your partnership in this work is nothing short of incredible.
May God bless you mightily today!
In Christ,
Jennifer
