Friends, this next study is for all of us!
I don't know about you, but I have a complicated, sometimes love-hate relationship with my emotions. Sometimes, I've felt guilty or sinful about feeling frustrated, angry, or upset. I've questioned whether it's ok to have big feelings and even wondered if what I'm feeling is even Biblical.
Does this ring true to you, too? Our next Online Bible Study, Untangle Your Emotions by Jennie Allen, is going to help us navigate our emotions as we study what Scripture tells us about our feelings.
Our emotions aren't bad in and of themselves! In fact, they have the potential to spur great things not only for us, but for others, and for the Kingdom of God!
"Our emotions have a purpose, and that purpose is connecting us to God and each other." ~ Jennie
In this study, we'll look at how many different people in the Bible, including Jesus himself, expressed and dealt with emotions. We'll soon see how feelings that are submitted to God can be used for the Kingdom of God, for what He wants to do in this world.
Together, we're going to learn how we can live emotionally healthy. We're going to dive into being emotionally honest and find that vulnerability and frankness are going to help us drop the guilt and process what we're feeling with the Lord and through the Word of God.
I don't know about you, but I can't wait! The study starts on June 10th, so round up your friends and join us for Untangle Your Emotions!
