Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean." Matthew 8:2

The Bible becomes the living word of God when it moves us in our day. Words written ages ago lift and draw us into contact with the Divine. Instruction seeps in and awareness comes at last to open souls. One such picture is the leper who approached our Savior. He knew he was ill and his heart told him there was only one place to go. The man went to Christ. And we could too!
God lives and moves unbound by the limitations we know. Jesus walks above the laws of nature, science, and philosophy. Where God is at work the possibilities are out of this world. And those who strive to be with Him will witness wonders. With the smallest seeds of faith, each seeker can be like the leper. We can go and find our Savior. We can approach the only one who can cure what ails us.
Whenever and however our God moves, it will be remarkable. It will blow our minds! Let´s take any problem no matter its size to Jesus today. Take the big, terminal problems as well as the small hiccups and bring them to His feet. Let us say as well, "Lord if you want to, You can heal us!"
Dear Jesus, we would like to come to You. Heal us. Whether our ailment threatens us greatly or urgently, we know that You can do what we cannot. You can correct anything that has separated us from You. You can bring relief from our distractions with the world. Please purge us of the cancerous urge to fight through life without You. Be our cure. So when You restore us, it will be to live with You. Amen
Isaiah 9:6-7 ESV / For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
Jeremiah 33:6 ESV / Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.
Psalm 147:3 ESV / He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
1 Peter 2:24 ESV / He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
