Gretchen smiled, understanding completely. "No matter how we connect," she replied, "our exchange brightens my day. The way you encourage me with your sincere words gives me hope to dig deep and plow through the difficult things. I believe I can, because you demonstrate how you can and did. You point out the victories in my own life and remind me where I've been and where I want to go." "I really missed you, and our times together like this," Margaux said. "In a tender and gentle way, you correct me and help me to make the much-needed course adjustments in my journey. Because your heart is pure and I know you love me so, I hear your words of truth, spoken with God's love." The hours slipped away as the two shared stories from the past year and reminisced about their times spent together before saying their goodbyes. Our verse today speaks of a person who brings things to the forefront of another's heart. "Deep waters," refer to something hidden within the depths of a soul – something troubling or something that brings much joy. When you love unconditionally, people open up their hearts and share treasures of their hearts. Charles Finney said, "Nothing tends more to cement the hearts of Christians than praying together. Never do they love one another so well as when they witness the outpouring of each other's hearts in prayer." Do you share a divine connection with a friend? Are you that friend that reaches deep into the heart of another and draws out the gift inside of them? Cherish the times with those divine friendships God gave to you.
