Prophecy Thread of Week 14 Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary Definition of Truth: Conformity to fact or reality; exact accordance with that which is, or has been, or shall be. The truth of history constitutes its whole value. We rely on the truth of the scriptural prophecies. THE EVERLASTING COVENANT WITH ISRAEL God made an everlasting covenant with Abraham and his descendents the Israelites. God cannot lie or break His word. Today, this covenant continues to believers in Christ (Gal 3:14). Paul states that in this current age there are blinders preventing the understanding of the Messiah (Rom 11). However, in the ages to come there will be no blinders and all will recognize that through Jesus Christ the covenant will go on forever. PROMISED GOD'S COVENANT WITH ABRAHAM 1913 BC, 1897 BC (U) Gen 17:7 I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. WILL BE FULFILLED FEAST OF THE KINGDOM ON THE EARTH ONE THOUSAND YEAR REIGN Mic 7:20 You will be faithful to Jacob, and show love to Abraham, as you pledged on oath to our ancestors in days long ago. GOD'S COVENANT WITH ISRAEL GOES ON FOREVER ETERNAL AGES TO COME Isa 59:21 "As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the LORD. "My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever," says the LORD.
