May 26, 2021 I've found peace of mind is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. Avoiding the drama and chaos and over-stimulation is certainly key to finding that inner peace. And, sometimes that also means we must separate ourselves from situations and people who choose to live in a state of continuous anxiety or turmoil. I know saying avoid drama and separate from those who thrive in it, sounds too simple of an answer. But, I do believe it is our over-complication of the matter that actually fuels our uneasiness, and that we do have the ability to control most aspects of our inner-self and well-being. Read more May 27, 2021 Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the nation, with almost 5.5 million cases diagnosed each year – more than breast, colon, lung and prostate cancers combined. In fact, one out of every five Americans will be diagnosed with some form of skin cancer in their lifetime. The good news is that 90 percent of skin cancers are preventable. The National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention has designated this Friday, May 28, as Sun Safety Day to encourage sun safety awareness and to remind everyone to protect their skin while enjoying the outdoors.
