| • | The Algerian government closed all churches in an attempt to eradicate Christianity. Now our local team reports unemployment in some areas as high as 75%. The secret church body continues to meet and have asked us for flour so church members can survive on bread during this crisis. |

| • | Converts to Christianity are already ostracized and cut-off from family and jobs. Now they face lockdown, with no income or support. Our Field Team in Morocco recently heard from Nazim who shared, "Morocco will never be the same again. We are living on the streets and we have no food or money to get by! COVID-19 is killing us slowly." |

| • | We have also heard from women like Navah, a convert and mother of two. She is trapped at home and beaten by her husband daily during this lockdown. He is threatening to leave her and cut her off from their children when the pandemic ends. |
