Greetings AmeriCorps Alumni, It is a new year, with new opportunities to engage with AmeriCorps! Read on for AmeriCorps alumni news as we kick off 2021. MLK Day of Service is Jan. 18 For many AmeriCorps alumni, the MLK Day of Service was a memorable event in their service year. Although MLK Day 2021 will look differently than years past due to COVID-19, all AmeriCorps alumni are encouraged to make this "A Day ON, Not A Day Off". AmeriCorps is collaborating with the Presidential Inaugural Committee to encourage service and commitment to service on King Day. There are many needs in our communities where we can make a difference in honor of Dr. King's legacy and we hope you will join in the National Day of Service. For ideas for serving safely during COVID-19, check out MLKDay.gov.
